Last Sunday (19th Feb), we partnered with the social enterprise Amity, and led 8 student volunteers to visit some elderly living in Sheung Shui and distribute hygiene packs to them. We delivered around 1,400 each of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and body lotion. They were delighted, and kept saying thank you to us!
“I feel good to help those elderly people that live alone,” Said Filip Olaussen, an intern from Norway, “and it is an interesting experience to see inside those apartments of Hong Kong specialty. It is really a memorable and meaningful experience”
