After 2 hours working hard for recycling soap, the volunteers from CEIC Data visited our elderly neighbours in Kwai Chung Estate immediately. They distributed the soap reprocessed by themselves together with fruits.
The whole session is filled with joys and meaning. We all know the most important of home visits is not the “items” but is “connection”. The elderly deserve respect and care even if it is a chit-chat, because loneliness can cause negative effects on the overall well-being.
Without the tireless effort and passion of the supporters like them, we would not be able to achieve our mission.
