We’ve just conducted a two-day workshop with a group of energetic youth from the The Link Centre. In this workshop, we let them briefly know about what Soap Cycling has been doing, what the Jockey Club “Start with Soap” Empowerment Programme is, and moves on to a fun bottle art upcycling workshop, where participants created their unique art pieces upcycled from plastic bottles we collected from hotels. The Link Centre, located in Kwai Tsing, facilitates and accelerates the process of integrating the Ethnic Minority (EM) into the community, enables them to access to public services without being discriminated and, enhances young EMs to unfold their potentials and enrich their psychological well-being.
