The environmentally friendly handmade MEY 美 Soaps sold for promoting social inclusion
The soaps are made of brand-new expired coconut oil supplied by Soap Cycling and made by the young adults with special needs of Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service.
MEY “美” associates the target beneficiaries of our community empowerment programme, and M, E, Y stand for Ethnic Minorities, Elderly, and Youth. 50% sales revenue of the MEY 美 Soaps is allocated to the makers to recognize their achievements in recycling and to motivate them to work, for the good of self-esteem and social inclusion. The MEY 美 Soaps are made of different natural ingredients, so they are natural and environmentally friendly.
We would like to express a big thank you to Jardine Matheson for their kind support and purchase of the rose shaped MEY 美 Soaps as one of their gifts given to the elderly neighbours in Fu Cheong Estate.
We are looking forward to your support to sustain this programme by purchases or in-kind donation of coconut oil! For more information, please email us at info@soapcycling.org.
